What happens at this event?

Over the course of two days you'll learn how to bind your frame, create a pattern for your shade from which you'll make and sew your outer fabric. You'll learn how to cut the fabric on the bias, and pin it to the frame under tension. You'll be taught how to consider the type of fabric and patterns which work best with this shape.

Things to remember

Everything is provided - except for your own choice of fabric. For your first attempt we recommend a PLAIN midweight fabric (so you don't have to contend with pattern matching though this will be discussed).
Teas, coffees, snacks are all provided but you need to bring your own packed lunch…

Highly recommend everyone gives this a go. Get involved whichever class you take or hobby you wish to pursue. Great classes and environment. Relaxed informative teaching. I am on my third lampshade course and ready to consolidate my knowledge and learn more. Brilliant. Thank you Lottie and Charlotte and also Claire and Moji from my previous courses. Great inside knowledge, tips and enthusiasm. See you again soon xx
